Hale Named as Executive Director
The West Virginia Venture Connection (WVVC) and its sister organization West Virginia Entrepreneurs Forum (WVEF) announced appointment of John S. Hale as Executive Director.  "John brings decades of private and public sector experience to the WVVC," said Chairman Eric Lewis, "and we look forward to important contributions to our State''s venture development."  Hale has pioneered online applications in the telecommunications and healthcare industries, as well as directed national telecommunications campaigns for the Executive Office of the President.  Currently, he conducts a strategic communications consulting practice.
 
WVEF to Convene in Morgantown
The West Virginia Entrepreneurs Forum (WVEF) -- sister organization of the West Virginia Venture Connection (WVVC) -- will launch "Version 2.0" on May 26th from 6-9pm at the Radisson in Morgantown.  Many founders of WVEF will attend as the Forum continues the tradition of informative networking sessions among entrepreneurs, capital providers and service providers.  Walk-ins are welcome, but RSVP's are appreciated.  Please RSVP to: info@wvef.org.  There is no charge to attend.
